Ed Hardy was creative enough to realize that with the rising popularity of tattoos that putting them on clothing would make total sense. Without him we would not be seeing the tidal wave of tattoo based clothing today. The clothing brand, Ed Hardy, from California, is a tremendous, colorful, and full of life which displays his unique artwork. As of right now Ed Hardy is ubiquitous, his shirts, Energy Drink etc, perfume, you name it is a hot lifestyle make wanted by celebrities.

To start with, Ed Hardy is a talented Irezumi artist, a Japanese Tattoo style, which he picked up whilst studying in Japan. When he was asked by Ku USA, realized a chance to take his designs and art to a much bigger scale and applied it to all of the Ed Hardy line of clothes – exclusively inspired classic prints, underwear, loungewear and boxers people are speeding their hard earned money on.

Ed Hardy is well-known all over United States for his stylish tattoo designs. The “Ed Hardy” brand is thought of as expensive but it doesn’t seem to be stopping people from wanting to be trendy and fashionable. Doe you like what you see? If you want to look fashionable and you don’t care about the price tag, you don’t have to keep looking. With what originally was a tattoo hobby for Hardy has created a momentous enthusiasm not only for tattoos but tattoo style clothing.

Don Ed Hardy has come to be an esteemed stylist for integrating his works into today’s pop culture. It isn’t shocking then when Ed Hardy, known for tattoo with rhinestone detail a Christian Audigier Brand was born into it’s own niche – embellishing many of garments with gold and print. For simplicities sake, Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy are the almost one in the same brands.

Christian Audigier also deserves credit for making popular and blending the tattoo art into everyday garments. Audigier, who happens to be a French designer, is also a man with numerous achievements under his own belt. He has successfully tried his hands at replicating the marketing techniques by “Von Dutch” which was hugely popular three to four years before Ed Hardy.

What made Audigier and Hardy so successful – directly marketing to celebrity clients, like Kim Kardashian, David Beckham, and many other sports celebrities. Strategically locating stores in up market locations besides fashion districts was only to follow suit. Now we see his designs in all of the gossip magazines being sold at grocery store checkout stands.
