@TATTOOTRAINING Bulltrue my friend, all artists do things differently. Needle give is personal preference, to an extent. No one MEASURES with a ruler how far the needle sticks through the tip. They do it by sight, and feel. That’s a fact.
dude my gun is having some problems, my clip cords, when attached to the frame and backpost, will not flow the current through to the gun so it doesn’t work……? help anyone?

whats the diff between a mag and a flat.not to be stupid but if i plan on using different needles its good to know.
i agree with the violentbydesign dude. there are no rules. ive doubled a nickle…..depends on alot of things. spring tension…if u like a really long stroke, etc.
i do try to get a nice wave going in my Armature bar. sometimes thats really hard. im just now learning about machine building. i did my first machine build 2 weeks ago. 6 wrap coils, hand wound, handmade hardware. 16 gauge rear 18 front springs. 22milimeters between the coils…center to center measurment. front binderabve the coil

LOL basicaly just confusing people, the best explanations i’ve found has been posted by suppliers… the “pros” just complicate things, the sick thing is everyone of them say different things, but suppliers allways say the same thing! Respect to ELEMENT-TATTOO-SUPPLY!
