Traditional Samoan Tattoo in Auckland

The Samoan Pe’a or Tatau, done traditionally with the Au (tattooing instrument), by the Tufuga (samoan tattooist) Tuloena Ioane Fa’amausili, 14yrs old, from West Auckland New Zealand. His father Tuloena Peni Fa’amausili has been tatauing for over 30 years and is overseeing the process as he passes the skill onto the next generation.
